These Terms of Use (the "Terms") govern your use of the Mr. Wolfe's A&P Prep™ mobile application (the "App") and the website at mrwolfeaviation.com (the "Site"), both operated by Mr. Wolfe Aviation™ LLC ("we," "us," "our"). By downloading, accessing, or using the App or Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use them.
What We Provide
The App is a study tool for the FAA Aviation Maintenance Technician (AMT) written knowledge tests. It offers practice questions aligned to the FAA Airman Certification Standards, plain-language explanations, an AI-assisted tutor feature, a glossary, and FAA reference figures. The Site provides information about our services, including private one-on-one tutoring offered separately by arrangement.
The App and Site are study aids only. They are not flight or maintenance training programs, are not approved courseware, and are not a substitute for an FAA-certificated Part 147 Aviation Maintenance Technician School or supervised practical experience.
Educational Use — No Guarantee of Results
We do not guarantee that you will pass any FAA examination. Exam results depend on your own preparation, the official FAA materials in effect at the time of your test, and factors outside our control. The App is a preparation resource, not a promise of any outcome.
You are responsible for verifying all study material against the current official FAA references — including the applicable handbooks (such as FAA-H-8083-30B), the Airman Certification Standards, and Title 14 of the Code of Federal Regulations — before relying on it for any certification, maintenance, or operational decision.
Not Affiliated With the FAA
Mr. Wolfe Aviation™ LLC is an independent business. We are not affiliated with, authorized by, sponsored by, or endorsed by the Federal Aviation Administration, the U.S. Department of Transportation, or any government agency. References to the FAA, the ACS, CFR parts, and FAA publications are used solely to identify the subject matter of the test the App helps you prepare for.
FAA publications and testing-supplement figures reproduced in the App are works of the U.S. federal government and are used as reference material. Their inclusion does not imply any government endorsement of the App.
The AI Tutor
The App includes an AI-assisted tutor that generates explanations in response to what you ask. Like all AI systems, it can be incomplete or wrong. Always confirm its explanations against official FAA references before relying on them. The tutor is an aid to understanding, not an authority.
To generate responses, the text you submit to the tutor is sent to and processed by a third-party AI provider. What you do in the App is not tied to your identity. For details on what is collected and how it is handled, see our Privacy Policy.
No Account Required
The App does not require you to create an account or provide a name, email, or profile to use it. Certain technical and diagnostic data may be collected to operate and improve the App, as described in the Privacy Policy, but it is not linked to your identity.
Intellectual Property
The App, the Site, and their original content — including question wording, explanations, glossary entries, diagrams, layout, and design — are © 2026 Mr. Wolfe Aviation LLC and are protected by intellectual-property law. "Mr. Wolfe Aviation™" and "Mr. Wolfe's A&P Prep™" are trademarks of Mr. Wolfe Aviation LLC.
We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App and Site for your own exam preparation. You may not:
- Copy, reproduce, republish, sell, or redistribute any content from the App or Site;
- Scrape, harvest, or extract content or questions by automated means;
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive the source code of the App;
- Use the content to build or train a competing product or service.
Acceptable Use
You agree to use the App and Site lawfully and not to misuse them — including not attempting to disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorized access to our systems or the AI tutor, and not submitting unlawful, abusive, or infringing content through any feature.
Third-Party Services
The App is distributed through the Apple App Store and relies on third-party services, including the AI provider that powers the tutor. Your use of the App through the App Store is also subject to Apple's applicable terms. We are not responsible for the practices or availability of third-party services.
Disclaimer of Warranties
The App and Site are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the content is error-free or current, or that the App will be uninterrupted or secure.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Mr. Wolfe Aviation LLC and its sole member will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss arising from your use of, or inability to use, the App or Site — including any examination outcome, certification decision, or maintenance action. Your sole remedy if you are dissatisfied is to stop using the App and Site.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes take effect when posted to this page, and the "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent version. Your continued use after a change means you accept the revised Terms.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the App or Site will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
